All of the following music, in midi format, is of music used by The Salvation Army. It is here for your listening pleasure.

The names are somewhat cryptic and you will just have to listen to each number to find out exactly what it is. Many of the numbers were done by Bandmaster Ralph Pearce (Phoenix Arizona, Southwest DHQ) for use as accompaniment music and is recorded from his korg synthesizer to audio tape, sounding a lot better then what you will hear here. Some of the music is music arranged for Brass Band and full sheet music for all parts is available. One such example is the one called "moz40" which is a Mozart classic arranged for brass band. I might add that it is serious music that would require a full, top level band to perform...it's very difficult to play.

Another band arrangement is called "zac" which is a Ralph Pearce number and was performed by the Southwest Youth Band while on tour of the Greater New York area. You should be warned that ZAC has the drum track as track 16 and most listeners will have to disable track 16 or it will sound awful as the drum does not sound at all like a drum, but more like an annoying triangle or something. The same holds true for "fobell.mid" which is a very good brass band arrangement by Ralph Pearce called "Fantasy of the Bells" but has one of the tracks (not sure which one) as a drum track and it sounds quite awful if the track is not disabled.

The music is being provided here purely for your listening pleasure, but if you wish to obtain tape or printed music, contact me and I will see what is available, and put you in contact with the right person. As stated already, most of this music was arranged, and keyed in by Ralph Pearce, but not all of it. One number, "heloves" is a band arrangement by Paul Curnow, of the song Oh How He Loves You and Me. I published it for him as it only existed in manuscript before and is otherwise unpublished. Again, full score and band music is available, and I would put you in contact with Paul and he could provide for your needs.
