The purpose of The Earth

There is an extreme fringe of Environmentalist that believe that mankind is destroying the environment of the Earth. In this, they are not entirely wrong. Their solution is to eliminate people. These wacko’s think that if man was removed, the Earth would return to it’s natural state and be perfect.

I ask the question; “perfect for what”? Would the universe somehow be grateful? Can the universe even care? I contend that without Mankind the world would have no purpose. Like a painting from a Master… if there is nobody to see it... or the greatest music with nobody to hear it, it would have no purpose. It is the seeing and the hearing that gives it meaning.

The Holy Bible tells us that God created the Earth for mankind and made it a perfect place, then he placed mankind in a position of stewardship of the Earth. We are supposed to care for it, but there is a problem. Sin entered in and mankind over-all has forsaken the responsibility to the Earth. Greed, money, power, and a lost relationship with our Heavenly Father have led us to where we are now.

The purpose of the Earth is to be the perfect place for mankind. Mankind has been an unfaithful steward. Without mankind the Earth has no purpose and so far as we can tell, it is unique in the universe. As you can see, I believe in a Creator who created both us and the entire universe. Anything else is without meaning.

Many people in Western society, today, do not believe in God, they believe life created itself and through a process of evolution created every living thing on Earth (yes, including plants). A super-computer would have a greater chance of evolving from the sand on a beach and it would be dead. There would have to be an operating system created by a programmer.

For evolution to work, there must be life, as only living things can evolve. Where did this life come from? What is life anyhow? Is there any evidence of anything spontaneously becoming alive?

One of the great ignored facts about the evolution theory (yes I said theory) is it cannot account for the beginning… did the universe evolve from nothing? Saying the universe always existed is just a way to sidestep the question. Science has proven that the universe came into existence suddenly from a tiny point that is at the center of what we call the universe. It is called the “Big Bang” and cannot be explained other than as creation, yet mankind in general refuses to acknowledge a Creator.

It is ignored by most, but Darwin, in later life recanted his position on evolution, yet the world hangs on to a bad theory because the only other choice is to acknowledge God the Creator. Science does not go against God, the more we know, the more we see the Creator.

Fact: Without God there is no purpose in anything, no right or wrong, no good and no evil, no purpose. Yet God has built into each one of us a knowledge of what is good and what is evil, and a sense of purpose. Deep down inside, everyone knows that God exist. It is human nature to seek God. Without God, the Earth has no meaning, indeed, life has no meaning. The evidence supports God and Creation.

God does exist, and He has a plan...
