I bought an old Ameritron AL-84 Linear Amplifier on eBAY and it needed a repair. After looking over the Ameritron web site I could not find any information on this old, but good unit. Since the manual is only four pages I decided to make it into a PDF file and make it available to others who might need the manual and diagram. It is interesting to note that I needed to buy a replacement part (the variable plate capacitor for tuning the output) and while the part number had changed, Ameritron still stocked the part and I was able to buy it.
